The World According to kcillini77

About kcillini77

I do have a more real sounding name – Matt, but kcillini77 sounds much more internet-savvy, don’t you think?  To explain, “kc” refers to the metropolitan area I live in (Kansas City), “illini” refers to the beloved athletic teams representing my alma mater, and dare I admit that 77 is the year of my birth (30 years old is fast approaching).  I have a beautiful wife, Jennifer, and a 10 month old (as of February ’07) son who is truly a gift of God.  I have nothing to boast about, because anything that I have or do comes not by my power but by that of God, who gave me the gift of salvation through his son, Jesus.  I am learning more about Him each day, and I will never stop learning.  I am trying to give up my stubbornness and allow Him to mold me into His image.

Hobbies include softball, watching the Illini, the Royals, and the Chiefs, drinking good beer in moderation, and reading.

  1. Matt,

Good for you for sharing your faith. We need more Christians like you who are bold in Christ!
I will pray for you and your church that the Lord delivers you a pastor that will lead your congregation and boldly share the love of God through the blood that he gave from his only Son so we as sinners are saved. That is pure unconditional love that provides us hope that last through all eternity.

I look forward to seeing you at the next Illini game at Coach’s. We share much of the same passions!

    Go Illini!
    Dave

  2. Dear Matt: I’m so very glad that you had such a fine time with Brinton. Am so glad that he got to see the large train go by. Railroads are where his Great Grandfather and Great Great Grandfather’s earned their living.
May you continue to share in these adventures together. Quality time spent with children is what truly counts. Love, Great Grandma Minter
