Attention all Major League Scouts

My son just turned 2 last month, and it’s time that you start familiarizing yourself with Brinton Davis.

Brinton Batting

Look at the hand-eye coordination.  He’s still looking at the place that he hit the ball as he continues his follow-through on a line drive to the opposite field.  I’m telling you, the kid can hit and he can throw.  We still haven’t found a position for him in the field, but we’re working on it.

Now, I only made it to high school baseball, but this kid is going to be different.  Major Leagues, here we come.  We’ll probably have to move somewhere south so he can play year round and we’re going to have to invest lots of money into traveling teams and the best equipment, not to mention personal trainers and nutritionists.  And, yeah, he’ll never get to go camping or play other sports or spend much time with other kids.  But he’ll have friends on his teams, so that will work itself out.

And he seems to have his way with the ladies, so I’d say about 2032 we’ll have a son in the Major Leagues and grandchildren to play with.  I mean, if you don’t set goals how do you ever accomplish anything?

  1. And what does Jen have to say about this??

  2. This is Jen, you know, the mother. Well, my husband is a very sarcastic man and although I do not agree with everything said in this post, I don’t think he does either. What we do know is that we have a very talented little boy and I think God will do great things with him and if that means the Major Leagues, then so be it:) As for grandchildren, I think the year 2032 is a safe year to assume that he’ll be married and we’ll have at least one grandchild. He will be 26 by then:)

  3. Listen, I think this is great. He does show amazing potential and I think he has the drive. I do think it is imperative that you move to a warmer location, perhaps the Charlotte, North Carolina area. Ridiculously mild, year round baseball weather. Brayden also shows similar potential. He has the drive as well considering he says nothing but “BALL” over and over and over. And he can throw too, I’m thinking maybe a shortstop. Don’t you love planning out another person’s life? 🙂 Oh, if you do move here we can share the personal trainer, nutritionist, etc, maybe to save a couple bucks. And we can carpool to all the tournaments and such. Woohoo!!
